How long will treatment take?
Osteopathic treatments take up to 30 minutes with Tom Bedford, Summeara Bedford or Ben Ousey. Massage treatments can be either 30 minutes or 60 minutes
Where can I park?
We recommend the St Clements St public pay & display car park, which is located between the practice and The Plain roundabout, and only a 1 minute walk from the practice. There are some 30 mins free parking spaces opposite the practice on St Clements Street but these are NOT AVAILABLE in the rush hours between 7.30 - 9.30am and 4 - 6.30pm. The local traffic wardens are very sharp - you have been warned!
Will I have to undress?
Yes, it is usually necessary to undress to some extent. If you are having Osteopathic treatment your Osteopath will need to examine the part of your body that is causing pain, and to check everything is moving correctly. If you are having massage your massage therapist will have to work on the muscles of your neck, shoulders or back, and so will need access to those muscles. If you do have concerns about undressing please do mention this when you book your appointment and we will try to accomodate your needs.
How many treatments will I need?
Most clients have two or three treatments and are significantly improved. When treating long standing problems a longer series of treatment may be required. Your therapist will discuss how many treaments may be recommended when you have your first consultation
